Recent cases include acting for an international art collector in a professional negligence claim against a leading auction house; advising on a major private prosecution involving a leading sports retailer; and acting for the victim of a serious cryptocurrency fraud. My experience also includes assisting on regulatory and criminal matters, and advising on the UK and EU sanctions regimes.

I am a member of the Queen Mary Legal Advice Centre and supervise law students on pro bono cases involving contract and employment law.

Prior to qualifying as a solicitor I trained as an academic and completed a PhD on the censorship of art and culture in Iran. I also worked for a number of arts organisations, including Christie's, the British Museum and the Royal College of Art. As such, I have keen interest in art law, art-related disputes and the burgeoning world of NFTs.
