Experience:
- Assisted on a substantial joint venture industrial development scheme between a private company and a local authority. As part of a masterplan planning application work included but was not limited to investigating areas of unregistered land in relation to utilities and access requirements, considering and advising on various defects on title, contamination issues and an assessment of the existence of agricultural tenancies.
- Assisted with the development of c.40k sq ft Grade A office complex in Cheshire as part of a multi-million pound investment scheme.
- Assisted on a c.£20m disposal of a company which comprised a portfolio of c.45 public houses.
- Assisted on c.£30m sale comprising multiple industrial units all of which were subject to leases to a substantial investment buyer. Extremely fast-paced commercial transaction, full disclosure of sale pack provided to purchaser within 24 hours of receipt of Heads of Terms and completion within 12 weeks thereafter.
- Worked in-house on secondment in respect of a specific project for a major international bank which has over 450 branches worldwide.
- Assist with day-to-day asset management for large-scale landlords, including but not limited to the drafting of new/renewal leases, rent deposits, licences to assign/underlet/alter, rent review memorandums etc.
- Act for significant retail tenant clients in managing their portfolio of leased properties in accordance with business and commercial need.
