My main areas of practice
I advise, among others, project developers, investors and utilities on the implementation of national and international energy and infrastructure projects in the field of renewable energies.
A particular focus of my work is the assessment and appraisal of energy regulatory issues and the drafting of corresponding contracts. I also assist with transactions in the Energy and Infrastructure sectors.
I advise our clients in German and English.
Education
My background
After studying law in Passau, London and Bordeaux, I completed my legal traineeship in Frankfurt am Main.
Before joining Fieldfisher, I worked as a lawyer in Frankfurt am Main and advised energy suppliers and industrial companies on Energy Law issues along the entire value chain.

Fieldfisher advises EEF on the acquisition of Beckum wind farm

The Fieldfisher Energy team led by Daniel Marhewka advised EEF Erneuerbare Energien Fabrik GmbH (EEF) on the acquisition of the Beckum wind farm. The wind farm has a planned total capacity of 21.9 MW and comprises three Nordex N149 turbines with a hub height of 125.4 metres and a Nordex N133 turbine with a hub height of 110 metres. The wind farm was sold by BayWa r.e.
