Professional background

My main areas of practice
My particular expertise lies in advising on transactions in the Energy and Infrastructure sectors. I also regularly advise on M&A, private equity, venture capital and real estate transactions. These are mostly international, cross-border projects. I provide comprehensive support in corporate and energy law issues. My focus is on renewable energy, where I have advised on over 5,000 MW of solar, wind and other renewable energy projects in Europe and internationally.

In addition, I have the exciting task of being jointly responsible for our advisory services in the Energy sector and setting priorities there.

My clients include domestic and foreign investors, financial institutions and (family) businesses. As different as the clients are, as varied and diverse is the work I do for them.

My work ranges from advising a joint venture for floating offshore wind projects, to the financing and acquisition of Europe's largest solar park with a capacity of 650 MW, to the mezzanine financing of various renewable energy portfolios in Germany, France and Poland.

I advise my clients in German and English.

Publications
I regularly publish articles on corporate and energy law issues.

In addition, I am the author of the Heidelberg Model Contracts for oHGs and have dealt with the law of geothermal energy in the book "Geothermie-Vorhaben: Tiefe Geothermie".

Personal engagement
In 2014, I was awarded the "Deal Maker of the Year" award by FinanceMonthly. In 2015, I was awarded the "Client Choice" award for Energy & Natural Resources Germany.

I regularly speak at conferences on renewable energy topics and serve on the advisory board of a family-owned company.

My background
I studied law in Heidelberg and London and completed a legal traineeship in Munich and New York.

Before joining Fieldfisher, I worked for seven years as a lawyer in an international law firm in the Corporate/Energy sector and for three years in a US law firm in the Munich and New York office in the Corporate/M&A sector.
