Fieldfisher Belfast

Our Belfast office is unique within Fieldfisher, unlike any of our other offices. The team delivers first-class, commercially focused results through a balanced mix of legal technology solutions and highly skilled, first-class resources.

Founded in 2018 and based in Belfast's historic Titanic Quarter, the team now comprises over 100 legal services and business support professionals.

Legal Services

Our highly skilled fee earners support colleagues across the full breadth of the Fieldfisher network delivering the highest quality legal solutions. Our Belfast office is focused on providing a supportive environment for those at the beginning of their career and is committed to helping them develop as their career progresses. For those hoping to join us, and for colleagues interested in furthering their skills and experience, see here what one of the team had to say about our Graduate Legal Professional Scheme.  It's been such a success, for its second year we've doubled the number of people the scheme accommodates.

In August 2022 we announced our first ever training contracts – further sign of our commitment to longer term office growth and our Belfast colleagues.

To learn more about what our Belfast office is all about  listen here what our Head of Belfast Office, Lisa Algie, has to say in the Introduction to Belfast Hub.

Business Support

Integral to the operations of any law firm are the support roles which Belfast houses a number of, from Practice Administrators, Personal Assistants, Document Specialists, Professional Support Lawyers and Risk working across our international network. Some roles operate within standalone teams in Belfast, some working as an integral part of our UK wide support teams.

We are committed to the development of all our staff and we provide training and career progression through schemes such as our popular Trainee PA scheme and Practice Administrator Apprentice Programme.

A Belfast Business Skills Syllabus has also been devised to support all colleagues in the Belfast office as they develop in their roles.

The syllabus comprises of a series of short workshops focusing on the core business skills used by colleagues as they progress through each stage of their career. The workshops are linked to the Fieldfisher Career Development Drivers, and aimed at the three core areas of People Management; Business Development or Technical Skills.

At Fieldfisher every working day is different. You will work to the highest standards on a truly diverse range of tasks across many areas of the firm.  The work is fulfilling and you will be supported both by your team and the wider Fieldfisher family.  To us the way we work is as important as the work we do.
