An important paper to review is the FCA's Discussion Paper 23/2: Updating and Improving the UK Regime for Asset Management which was published in February 2023. Over a long number of years now, the UK has lost out as a funds domicile, and one question will be whether that position can be recovered and, if so, how. The challenge is agreeing how to progress these aims.
