European law firm Fieldfisher has been ranked the leading legal adviser to London AIM-listed clients by deal volume in 2019, according to the latest ECMi Report by respected data analysis provider, Acuris.
The firm's Equity Capital Markets practice successfully closed 10 deals for clients in the year to the end of September, three more than its closest competitor.
The value of the deals completed for Fieldfisher AIM clients this year totals £175 million, a 6% increase over the same period in 2018 and an excellent achievement in what continue to be testing times for the UK capital markets.
Fieldfisher also maintained its position as the third largest legal adviser to AIM-listed companies by number of clients in the third quarter of 2019, winning three additional clients since the prior quarter, according to the most recent AIM Adviser Rankings Guide (ARL).
The firm is ranked as a top five adviser to AIM-listed companies in the basic materials (including mining), consumer, energy, financials and real estate categories, reflecting the diversity of Fieldfisher's capital markets practice and the value of its specialist expertise in these key sectors.
