The Paris office Financial Services department, led by Arnaud Grünthaler partner, advised CACEIS Bank on obtaining its registration as a digital asset service provider (DASP) from the AMF on 20 June.
CACEIS Bank – a Crédit Agricole SA subsidiary specialising in financial services for institutional investors – is the first French securities custodian to obtain DASP registration. It is now authorised to provide custody services for digital assets for institutional clients.
For this matter, Fieldfisher France's team comprised partner Arnaud Grünthaler, and associate Elena Veragten. The team once again demonstrated its cutting-edge expertise in this area, its ability to assist financial institutions with the issues raised by these technical matters and to work with the regulators.
