Fieldfisher's leading Employment, Pensions, Immigration and Compensation (EPIC) team invites you to join our remote Mock Employment Tribunal hearing on Monday 25 October 2021. This event will provide training on remote hearings and the tribunal process. It will be of particular interest to in-house legal teams, HR, and compliance teams.
The Fieldfisher EPIC team is collaborating with Devereux Chambers, one of the UK's top civil and commercial sets specialising in employment law, on this unique event.
Andrew Burns QC of Devereux Chambers will play the role of the Employment Judge and Andrew's colleagues Sam Nicholls and Hitesh Dhorajiwala will be conducting the advocacy.
Members of the Fieldfisher EPIC team will serve as the witnesses and the session will include: a trial, cross examination, liability outcome as well as remedy. The decision of the judge will be delivered on the day.
There will be an opportunity to pose questions to the experts on how the decision was reached and about the process itself, which can often seem daunting and mystifying to those unfamiliar with tribunals.
Prior to the event, registrants will receive materials to read including a question and answer document dealing with the issues raised in the claim and a remedy hearing bundle.
