Professional background

My practice covers a broad range of commercial litigation and arbitration matters with a focus on multi-jurisdictional litigation and arbitration.

I have acted for clients on a number of high value, cross-border disputes before the High Court including a multi-million dollar fraud dispute involving a steel factory in the USA and a fraud dispute before the Commercial Court against a US law firm. Most recently, I have acted for a leading international bank in obtaining a multi-million euro worldwide freezing order.

My arbitration practice is varied and includes assisting on a multi-billion dollar investment treaty arbitration before the Stockholm Chamber of Commerce, a complex, international shareholder dispute involving a major oil and natural gas producer before the London Court of International Arbitration, and a cross-border film dispute before the Independent Film & Television Alliance arbitration centre.

I work for clients across the globe with a focus on the CIS region, the Middle East and Asia. I work across a variety of sectors including energy, media and financial services, and have spent six months on secondment to a multinational bank.

02.03.2026
On 1 March 2026, the revised Arbitration Law of the People’s Republic of China (the "PRC") (the “Law”) came into effect, marking the first major overhaul of the PRC’s arbitral framework since 1995. The reforms reflect the rapid expansion of international arbitration in the PRC and the PRC’s goal to position itself as a modern, sophisticated, and internationally aligned arbitral jurisdiction.
