Professional background
My main areas of practice
A particular focus of my practice is advising on film and television productions - from development and financing through production and distribution. I regularly assist clients with the drafting and negotiation of contracts and represent them in contentious matters within the media sector. In addition, I closely follow and advise on current legal developments at the intersection of media law and technology.
I advise our clients in both German and English.
Professional Engagement
I am a member of the Association Littéraire et Artistique Internationale (ALAI Deutschland e.V.) and the Afro-Deutsche Jurist:innen e.V. (ADJ).
Education
I studied law at Humboldt University in Berlin and subsequently completed a Master’s of Laws (LL.M.) at King’s College London. During my studies in Berlin and London, I was awarded a scholarship by the German National Academic Foundation (Studienstiftung des deutschen Volkes). I then completed my legal clerkship at the Berlin Court of Appeal (Kammergericht), with placements at a leading national corporate law firm and a globally leading technology company.
