I have almost 20 years' experience in secured and unsecured lending, focusing on real estate finance. As a transactional lawyer I advise banks, funds and private equity investors as well as corporate borrowers on loan finance transactions. I have both private practice and in-house banking experience in the UK and Australia.
More recently, I am a professional support lawyer with responsibility for identifying technical and commercial developments relevant to finance lawyers generally, providing information and commentary both internally and to clients. I also provide ad hoc transaction support for complex legal and technical issues.
I produce and update precedent documents and organise and present training internally and externally.
Outside of the office I have somewhat disparate interests in a range of sports (most actively cycling) and garden design.
