I joined Fieldfisher in 2023 and prior to doing so, I worked in a global commercial firm in Belfast specialising in insurance litigation. I have acted on behalf of various insurance companies relating to personal injury and associated matters and achieved great success. I also have a breadth of experience at a general practice level having worked in plaintiff litigation, criminal law and family law. I have experience representing clients in the Magistrates Court, Crown Court, District Court, County Court and the High Court of Northern Ireland.
I am on the Roll of Solicitors and can practise in both the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland.
I currently specialise in the investigation and preparation of cases for hearing before professional conduct committees of regulatory bodies. I am also involved in the provision of advices to regulatory bodies in respect of their fitness to practise processes, from preliminary stage through to sanction. I have extensive experience in examining medical records, obtaining witness statements and briefing expert witnesses.
