Monica is a senior associate in the Litigation and Complex Litigation Department. On a day-to-day basis, she represents and defends before the courts large estates, companies and institutional clients in financial litigation, as well as in particularly complex civil and commercial litigation.
She is part of the cassation team, specialising in the defence of clients' interests before high courts, by defining strategy and drafting cassation appeals before the Supreme Court, as well as other extraordinary appeals before Spanish and European courts.
She currently deals with claims for damages for breaches of competition law.
She holds a Law Degree from the University of Zaragoza and a Master's Degree in Law from the Abat Oliba CEU University. She obtained an Erasmus scholarship to complete her studies in Athens, where she began her professional career in 2013 in the international arbitration department of a leading law firm.
In her free time, she likes to go to the cinema, Netflix, read books on classical philosophy, take long walks on the beach with Bruno (his Labrador), travel as much as she can and enjoy her country.
