Professional background

My main areas of practice
My area of practice includes corporate tax matters and international tax issues. I advise our national and international clients primarily on tax issues relating to M&A transactions and tax-optimised restructuring. My range of advisory services includes in particular:

  • tax due diligence for buyers and sellers of companies,
  • the individual drafting of tax clauses in asset / share purchase agreements,
  • the creation of tax-optimised acquisition and sale structures (including holding structures),
  • tax advice on mergers, spin-offs and changes of legal form,
  • tax-optimised structuring to avoid real estate transfer tax.

In addition, I represent our clients in tax audits and tax disputes.

I advise our clients in German and English.


My background
I studied law at the Julius Maximilian University of Würzburg and subsequently completed my legal clerkship at the Berlin Court of Appeal. During my legal clerkship, I worked for the Finance Committee of the German Bundestag and the Federal Ministry of Finance, among others. I was awarded the title of Master of Laws (LL.M.) in Corporate and Tax Law by the University of Potsdam. I was admitted to the bar in 2018.

Prior to joining Fieldfisher, I was a lawyer with a large accounting firm and international commercial law firms.

European law firm Fieldfisher has advised the listed Incap Corporation on its acquisition of the Lacon Group, an established EMS and ODM provider founded in 1985 with production sites in Germany and Romania and a strong focus on the defence, rail technology and medical technology sectors. The transaction involves the acquisition of all shares for a minimum purchase price of EUR 50 million, plus a potential earn-out of up to EUR 5 million.
