Thanks to the advantages of my dual legal training and business administration and management, I can offer advice to business groups and individual clients in the Financial, Tax and Corporate law, including purchase-sales transactions of companies.
My extensive experience in Tax Law as well as in Commercial and Corporate Law has allowed me to excel in corporate operations, restructuring and family business and commercial transactions of a certain complexity (mergers and acquisitions, dissolution of companies, collaboration agreements and family agreements).
I also have an extensive knowledge of other issues with a high tax and commercial component, such as the problems related to the remuneration of administrators, also having in-depth knowledge of statutory relations and Partnership agreements.
For many years, I have designed complex and specific guarantees in the purchase of companies and I am an expert in the planning of strategies to eliminate the existence of control, in order to avoid consolidations at the customer's interest.
A great part of my professional career has been linked to the real estate sector, where I also stand out for my knowledge of the complexity of real estate registration and indirect taxes linked to this sector (VAT, Tax on Property Transfers and Stamp Duty).
In recent years, I have also worked for the financial department preparing extra judicial claims and agreements with financial institutions related to swaps and financial derivatives.
Currently, I am a member of the Steering Committee of the Master of Business Law at the Barcelona Bar Association, as well as being chair of the section of commercial law of ICAB, and member of the Spanish Association of Tax Advisors (AEDAF). Furthermore, I have also been an arbitrator at the Barcelona Arbitration Court. At Fieldfisher, besides the creation of the Fiscal and Financial department, I also founded the Information Technologies Department. I have drafted the consecutive statutes of the law firm and have given support to several departments, mainly in the areas of Banking Litigation and Mergers and Acquisitions.
