Professional background

I am a dual-qualified solicitor (admitted in England and Wales and New Zealand) in the trade marks and brand protection team at Fieldfisher.

I have expertise in a wide range of trade mark and branding matters, including clearance, prosecution, enforcement, border protection and opposition, revocation and invalidity actions.  I advise clients in a wide range of industries, including many household names, on pre-filing matters through to post-registration actions.

I write regularly and my work has appeared in a range of academic and commercial publications including World Trade Mark Review, the INTA Bulletin, Managing Intellectual Property, World Intellectual Property Report, New Zealand Business Law Quarterly and Arbitration International, as well as Fieldfisher's own SnIPpets IP blog.

Before joining Fieldfisher I worked in a similar role at a leading Australasian Intellectual Property firm.
