I have represented core participants and others in several recent public inquiries. At a previous firm, I acted for clients in the Independent Inquiry into Child Sexual Abuse; the Grenfell Tower Inquiry; the Brook House Inquiry; the UK Covid-19 Inquiry; and the Post Office Horizon IT Inquiry.
I have experience in acting for clients in respect of internal party-political investigations and misconduct cases, in appeals, and in consequential High Court proceedings for declaratory relief.
I have acted for politicians, public figures and others in investigations by statutory regulators, and in bringing and defending complaints against regulatory bodies. My experience extends to acting for clients in contentious and non-contentious data and privacy cases.
In coronial proceedings and inquests, I have acted for clients including in Article 2 Inquests heard before a jury, related to failures in care and deaths in custody.
