Jean-François is recognised as an expert in civil and commercial litigation and arbitration (both domestic and cross-border), representing clients in various jurisdictions, or assisting them in alternative dispute resolution (ADR) processes, such as arbitration and mediation.
He has a specific expertise in obligations and contract law, advising clients on a broad range of contracts, both contentious and non-contentious, including transactional advisory work on acquisition matters.
Jean-François also has an extensive experience in helping clients manage and handle crisis situations in complex projects requiring (pre)-litigation strategies.
He teaches obligations and contract law at Saint-Louis University in Brussels and is the author of numerous publications. He speaks regularly at conferences on contract law and dispute resolution topics.
