I joined Fieldfisher's Public and Regulatory team in September 2018 after working in government in both the UK and in New Zealand.

I have particular expertise in advising clients on:

• Judicial review challenges;
• Statutory appeals;
• Large-scale inquests and inquiries; and
• Government consultations.

I provide pragmatic, risk-based advice in relation to public sector decision-making. I have acted in high profile litigation across a range of policy areas – from electoral law, to the environmental and education sectors.

Recent work includes:

• Acting for the Electoral Commission in litigation regarding breaches of campaign finance rules;
• Advising the Coroner on legacy inquests in Northern Ireland;
• Advising the London Fire Brigade as a core participant in the Grenfell Tower Inquiry;
• Acting for a central government client in relation to a high-profile challenge to air quality regulation in the UK;
• Various cases in education and child protection law, including working on disciplinary appeals in relation to teachers, and in the regulation of independent schools.
