Professional background

I advise on a wide variety of IP disputes in relation to trade marks, passing off, copyright and design rights.

I have experience in relation to advising clients on a range of intellectual property requirements. This includes managing global trade mark portfolios, carrying out worldwide trade mark clearance, filing and prosecution of trade marks, contentious registry proceedings including bringing and defending trade mark opposition, invalidity and revocation actions throughout the world, and negotiating settlement and co-existence agreements.

My experience also includes advising clients on disputes involving trade marks, copyright, designs rights and patents. I have acted for clients in UK High Court, Court of Appeal and IPEC proceedings, and helped to manage and coordinate trade mark and patent litigation proceedings internationally.
