I am a corporate and M&A lawyer, based in Fieldfisher's London office and recently completed two 3 year terms as the firm’s Senior Partner. I have over 25 years' experience advising international and domestic clients on transactions including M&A, joint ventures, fund-raisings and corporate restructurings.

I specialise in helping clients get a deal done, particularly where it is necessary to create bespoke tax optimised structures with complex financial or pricing elements to the deal. I am as happy dealing with spreadsheets which underpin a deal as I am with the legal documents.

The transactions I advise on are wide-ranging in scope and complexity. Recently I advised a major international brand on a £120 million multi-jurisdictional acquisition and associated corporate joint venture with a pre-determined exit structure and separately another client on a £200 million disposal to a private equity backed management team.

I am equally happy advising on all sizes of transaction and have also recently advised on a £20 million debt and equity rescue fund-raising for a retailer, a £2.5 million VCT fund-raising for an early stage technology company and the £1m disposal of a mutual business with 1,200 members.
