eatriz Montoya is an associate lawyer in the Criminal Law & Compliance department at Fieldfisher in Barcelona, with over twelve years of professional experience. Before joining the firm, she developed her career at one of the most prestigious criminal law boutiques in the city. She specializes in Economic Criminal Law, particularly in offenses against property, land use planning offenses, and crimes against public administration.
In 2016, she completed a Postgraduate Program in Compliance at the Barcelona School of Management of Pompeu Fabra University, gaining a comprehensive understanding of the areas that make up regulatory compliance. This has enabled her to contribute to the preparation of criminal risk analysis reports for various companies and the design of necessary processes or controls to prevent and/or mitigate them.
Beatriz combines her legal practice with teaching in the Master's in Law Admission program at Universitat Oberta de Catalunya. She is also a board member of the Criminal Law Section of the Barcelona Bar Association and has participated as a speaker in various conferences and courses.
