The majority of my work is cross-border, which often involves complex international treaty and conflict of law issues. However, I seek to minimise complexity wherever possible and provide clients with practical, commercial, usable advice. My advice normally encompasses both business and private assets and my clients range from technology entrepreneurs to dynastic business-owning families.
I have a particular focus on working with clients in the Far East, especially Hong Kong, Singapore and Malaysia, in relation to the succession of family investment companies as well as listed and unlisted owner-managed family businesses.
I am a member of the Society of Trusts and Estates Practitioners (STEP).
In my spare time I enjoy running, playing tennis, skiing and snowboarding.
