Back in September 2020, Fieldfisher brought in Peter Golden and Alistair Robertson from Linklaters, with Peter Golden taking over as the head of the team. Peter has grown a distinguished client base due to his leading reputation in wills and trusts, with a regional focus on the Middle East. This is complimented by Alistair, an expert on a wide variety of areas in private wealth law, with a focus on clients in the Far East.
In what has been a triumphant start for the newly rejuvenated team, this win follows on from the Private Client practice being ranked in the Chambers and Partners' High Net Worth guide for the first time. The practice has also been recognised as a top 20 law firm in the 2020 eprivateclient Top Law Firms.
On presentation of the Award, Chambers and Partners' stated that it was given to Fieldfisher as the firm that had made the 'greatest strides this year in developing its private wealth practice'.
