On the occasion of this year's Paris Arbitration Week (18 to 22 March 2024), Fieldfisher will host a roundtable discussion on the theme "Africanisation of arbitration - fit for purpose or could do better?".

The event will be joined, upon invitation, by a selected number of participants, including African-based and Africa-focused in-house lawyers, government officials, and arbitration practitioners from Africa-based law firms and organisations.

Our aim is to provide the set up that will encourage an open discussion and dialogue, among representatives of diverse organisations, on issues that concern arbitration in the African continent and to allow participants to forge relationships with each other.

The event will take place at our Paris office on Wednesday, 20 March 2024, at 9:30am and will be moderated by Marily Paralika and Ania Farren.
