On 10 July 2019, Paris partner Marily Paralika spoke at the ICC YAF event hosted by Reed Smith in Paris on "Regionalism and Specialism in International Arbitration."
Marily's presentation focused on the issue of regionalism in international arbitration in Europe and discussed the current arbitration landscape, including the emergence of regional arbitral institutions, the impact of Brexit and regional initiatives to establish international commercial courts in various European countries, as well as other initiatives such as the Prague Rules. More than 50 participants attended the event, including arbitration practitioners, students, in-house counsel and academics.
