European law firm Fieldfisher has promoted eight lawyers – five women and three men - to the partnership, effective from 1 May 2020.
The new partners are spread across the firm's London, Birmingham, Manchester and Düsseldorf offices and represent the development of talent across the firm's international footprint. The promotions are spread across a variety of Fieldfisher's practice areas including: disputes, finance, real estate and regulatory.
Commenting on the promotions, Fieldfisher Managing Partner, Michael Chissick, said:
"I want to congratulate all of our new partners. It is easy to become focussed on COVID-19 – understandably at the moment – but that should not detract from their achievements and reaching this milestone. We continue to develop our own talent at Fieldfisher. I am especially proud that our female pipeline continues to grow and that almost two-thirds of those made up are women. There is always more to do and we continue to invest in developing our talent organically."
