European law firm Fieldfisher has hired Yohanna Weber as a partner in the firm's Real Estate practice.

Yohanna is a specialist in the consenting of major development and nationally significant infrastructure projects, in particular energy and transport infrastructure, industrial and commercial schemes, large mixed-use development and urban regeneration.

Yohanna has extensive experience in the promotion of projects by way of development consent order, Transport and Works Act Order, major/multi-authority planning applications, compulsory purchase orders and acts for developments of international interconnector cables and pipelines.

Yohanna originally trained in Queensland, Australia, and qualified as a solicitor in 2003. She moved to the UK in 2008 and worked as a planning solicitor in local government, before moving to Dundas and Wilson in 2011 and onto Eversheds in 2013.

Antony Phillips, head of the Real Estate practice at Fieldfisher, said: "Yohanna is a very strong lawyer who is highly regarded by her clients.  Her expertise in major projects, especially in the highly specialised area of promoting development consent orders, will be invaluable in supporting the continued growth of one of the firm's key focus areas – energy and natural resources – and as such she is a strong fit for our team."

Yohanna joins Fieldfisher today, 5th December.
