European law firm Fieldfisher has advised the shareholders of InterCard, a leading network operator in Germany, on the sale of the company to Verifone, the US provider of technology used in electronic payment transactions at the point-of-sale.
The combination of the two businesses in Germany creates a point-of-sale terminal and multichannel Payment-as-a-Service provider capable of offering merchants secure, simple and innovative end-to-end payment and commerce solutions.
The Fieldfisher team was led by corporate partner Jan Hartmann, who was supported by Patrick Halfpap, Michael Adam, Sascha Dethof, Niklas Rahlmeyer and Martin Kissi.
