Charity Commission urges donors to support registered charities when making donations to help those affected by the crisis in Afghanistan

Before donating, check that the charity is registered with the Charity Commission. The Disasters Emergency Committee has brought together 15 leading UK aid charities to raise funds for the Afghanistan Crisis Appeal.

Charity Commission for Northern Ireland encourages charities to file annual returns

The Charity Commission for Northern Ireland encourage charities registered prior to the end of May 2019 to file their annual monitoring return with the Commission. There is no legal requirement for them to do so, following a Court of Appeal judgement in February 2020.
