In our two part series, we will be looking at members states that have transposed the Directive into national law (part 1) and at those who have yet to do so (part 2). We will be discussing some of the practical challenges that the Directive and national laws have created for multinational companies and explore ways of tackling these. We will also be looking at some of the areas where members states have gone beyond the scope of the Directive and asking the question as to whether or not multinational companies can adopt a "one size fits all" approach.
