My recent experience includes financing numerous projects in Europe, Russia, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, South Africa, Uganda and DRC. In recent years I have led on international syndicated prepayment facilities for the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan, Russian mining company SUEK and other producers of natural resources.
I also have significant experience on energy finance transactions, particularly in the Russian market where (in addition to advising on all aspects of Russian sanctions) I advised on largescale financings for energy companies and for the development of luxury hotels.
A former professional seagoing Royal Navy officer, I also regularly advise on shipping and superyacht financings and the maritime aspects of project finance.
