Professional background

Professional background

I lead the Real Estate Department comprising a team of Lawyers who provide a wide range of services to Financial Institutions, Government Agencies, Retailers, Property Developers, Receivers and Local Authorities.

I adopt a commercial, pragmatic and personal approach to transactions in order to bring my clients through the more complex and diverse legal issues that may arise in any given transaction.

I have overseen the management of many hundreds of acquisitions and disposals by the Housing Agency and the Local Authorities in the Social Housing Sector.

I advise a number of large Irish Retailers in the acquisition of their nationwide retail outlets and upon all of their Landlord and Tenant issues arising on an ongoing basis.

I manage and provide high level advice to a number of Financial Institutions in relation to the security held over their property backed assets and their ongoing disposals of their portfolios of property backed loans.

I am an experienced public speaker, and regularly deliver in-house training seminars and workshops to lending institutions and their customers on a range of topics to include prescriptive easements, certification of title and competing priorities.
