Professional background

My practice encompasses a broad range of commercial disputes including shareholder actions, banking and financial disputes, partnerships, professional negligence and increasingly, international financial sanctions, with numerous successful challenges against the European Council for a number of high net worth individuals, Sovereign Wealth Funds and corporate entities.

I am the Head of our Sanctions group that straddles the advisory as well as a number of court and regulatory challenges.

With an established Middle East practice, I have a particular focus and interest in servicing the needs of Middle East and North African clients and I also  head up the MENA desk at Fieldfisher.  A fluent Arabic speaker, I am also a Board Director and Member of Executive Committee of the Arab Bankers Association.
