I co-head the Technology, Outsourcing and Privacy department in our Brussels' office. I am a specialist data protection and e-commerce advisor and an information technology contract negotiator and litigator.
I provide strategic and practical advice on global data protection compliance issues to start-ups, large multinationals and public organisations. I have a particular interest in privacy challenges relating to digital technologies and services (geo-localisation, IoT, cloud computing, big data, cookies etc.).
Another important part of my practice consists of drafting and negotiating complex IT service and outsourcing agreements and advising on e-commerce matters.
In the past, I have been seconded to Accenture and Euroclear, where I managed many complex IT contract negotiations and the data protection aspects related to them.
I have a significant experience servicing clients in the TMT, Life Sciences and Financial Services sector.
I am a member of the European Advisory Board and of the Teaching Faculty of the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP) and holder of their CIPP/E certification.
I am a regular speaker at high-profile data protection conferences and I regularly publish in the field of data protection. I am ranked in both Chambers and Legal 500 and identified as thought leader in The International Who's Who Legal: Data.
