I work for a wide range of traditional and alternative trade financiers and market participants spanning global, regional and local financial institutions, multilateral and development financial institutions, impact and trade funds, fintechs, electronic platform providers and corporates.
I advise clients on the full spectrum of trade financings, from structured pre-export, prepayment, warehouse, inventory and borrowing base financings to letter of credit and payment instrument facilities to silent discounting and silent payment guarantee transactions. I have particular expertise in supply chain financings, advising clients on a range of traditional and bespoke receivables and payables finance structures, including the use of electronic platforms. I also advise clients on a range of distribution and risk mitigation techniques, including funded and unfunded participations, standby letters of credit and demand guarantees, and on insurance-related issues.
My practice is primarily cross-border in nature, working with clients on transactions across the globe, particularly in emerging markets. I enjoy working collaboratively with clients and their customers to identify, structure and implement financing solutions that address the challenges of cross-border financing and achieve their commercial goals.
