I have wide professional experience in Civil and Corporate Law, particularly, in complex M&A transactions and Joint-Ventures, areas in which I have been working for over 17 years.

I advise international investors (mainly private equity firms and multinationals) and family companies in M&A transactions, restructurings, joint-ventures, financing, insolvencies, as well as in compliance, liability of Directors and Managers and complex corporate agreements in a wide variety of sectors amongst which the following can be found: automotive, TMT, engineering, transports, food & beverages, carton board, heavy industries, energy, healthcare, services, etc.

Moreover, I am the Secretary of the Board of several multinationals going with investors through the complete cycle of their investment until its sale. In particular, I have advised international funds in several of the major special situations carve outs from multinationals in Spain and in their subsequent restructuring and successful sale.

Because of the valuable kind recommendations of my clients -of which I am grateful- I have been recognized in past years by Chambers Europe as a relevant practitioner in the Spanish market. I also received the “40 Lawyers under 40” award in 2017, organized by the prestigious publication Iberian Lawyer. I enjoy very much interacting with clients and appreciate the team work required in M&A transactions.  With the support of my valuable and strong team, I am always willing to provide as much added value as possible during the full cycle of the investment.

My professional career has developed in several international law firms such as Cuatrecasas (member of the French Desk) and Clifford Chance (member of the Private Equity team). I was a founding partner of the M&A and Dispute Resolution boutique GMQ Abogados before its incorporation into Jausas and, subsequently, to Fieldfisher.

I studied Law at the Complutense University of Madrid, and I hold a Master’s Degree in Companies Law from the School of Legal Practice of the aforementioned university.

I have collaborated as a lecturer in the Master’s degree of Law for Companies of ICADE and I have taught Corporate Law to students in the “practicum” program during the last year of their studies at the latter university. I have also been a lecturer in the Master’s degree program of the Carlos III University (Madrid).

I can advise my clients in English, French, and Spanish.

Outside of the office, I am devoted to sport, good friends, and family.
