Professional background

I qualified in 2003 and have significant experience in all areas of intellectual property litigation, having been involved in a variety of high profile intellectual property disputes post-qualification e.g. Citigroup v Davies and Schütz v Werit. Before joining Fieldfisher, I also worked at LexisNexis writing content for their online know-how platform in relation to intellectual property law.

I joined Fieldfisher as a PSL in 2011. In this multi-faceted role, together with Jennifer Bryant, I am responsible for providing know-how support and legal training (both internally to the team and externally to clients), carrying out research, coordinating client seminars and external events and liaising with the business development and marketing teams.  A large part of my role involves coordinating, writing and editing articles for our popular online blog 'SnIPpets' and for a wide range of industry publications. I also liaise with the national press from time to time when they are seeking comments from our lawyers on high profile cases or new developments in IP law.

I have also spent some time involved with the Prisoners' Advice Service providing free legal advice and support to adult prisoners in England and Wales.

In my spare time, when I am not dealing with my three children, I love to run and do military fitness!
