Professional background

I take a pragmatic approach to my work, and provide clients with individual, commercial solutions to fit with their timescales and business needs.

My particular expertise is in the logistics sector, working extensively with both large listed and privately owned infrastructure, support services, transport and distribution companies. I also have a strong foundation working in the retail sector, acting for a large listed fashion retailer and one of the UK’s high-end supermarket chains and convenience store operators.

My recent transaction experience includes:

  • Acting on the sale and purchase of a logistics and distribution provider which created the largest privately owned logistics provider in the UK with an overall turnover of more than £2.2 Billion – a transaction involving a portfolio of 52 properties.
  • Advising a market leading ambient and chilled food & drink 3PL specialist in connection with their 100+ property portfolio including numerous leases of large distribution warehouses (of c. 600,000 sqft) with average rents of £3.5 million per annum, negotiating agreements conditional on practical completion of new development of the sites, collateral warranties and associated licences.
  • Advising in relation to industrial open storage (IOS) sites (c.34 acres) including acting on behalf of tenants in connection with leases at rents of c.£2m pa, including complex options to renew.
  • Advising a third-party logistics and distribution provider in relation to the sale of a 207,000 sqft industrial warehouse for £32,000,000.

CEO Infrastructure/Estates, Stobart Group
I can categorically say that she is the hardest working, most professional property lawyer I have come across in my 17 years. She is extremely thorough, responds to deadlines, and her quality of work is excellent. The main thing for me is that she comes back with answers and solutions and not more questions to issues.
