As a member of Fieldfisher's IP, Tech and Data team, I advise both international and domestic clients on a wide range of legal matters relating to digital technologies. My core practice focuses on (e-)privacy and data protection law. I support clients with GDPR compliance projects, advise on contractual data protection matters and assist in handling data breaches. I also specialise in IP and IT heavy transactional work and have experience in e-commerce, digital marketing and platform regulation.
In 2021, I graduated from the University of Amsterdam with a master's degree in Information Law. My master thesis focused on the integration of data protection law in EU merger control. During my studies, I gained experience as a legal intern at various top-tier law firms and a Dutch retail bank.
Before joining Fieldfisher, I worked for several years at a major international law firm.
I am a board member of the Young Privacy Lawyers Netherlands Association (Jonge Privacy Advocaten Nederland, JPAN) and a member of the Privacy Law Association (Vereniging Privacy Recht, VPR).
I have registered the following principal legal practice area in the Netherlands Bar’s register of legal practice areas (rechtsgebiedenregister): Privacy Law (Privacy recht). Based on this registration, I am required to obtain ten training credits per calendar year in Privacy Law in accordance with the standards set by the Netherlands Bar.
