Prior to joining Fieldfisher, I worked for an international law firm in Belfast specialising in defence litigation. I have acted for a wide variety of global insurers in matters relating to public liability and employer's liability claims. I have also acted for a regulatory body in Northern Ireland advising on issues relating to prosecutions, environmental breaches, land disputes and the obtaining of warrants. I have experience in representing clients in the County Court and High Court of Northern Ireland.
I specialise in the investigation and preparation of cases for hearing before professional conduct committees of regulatory bodies. I am also involved in the provision of advices to regulatory bodies in respect of their fitness to practise processes, from preliminary stage through to sanction.
I am admitted to the roll of solicitors in both the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland.
