Professional background
I have worked in several large-scale developments in Portugal, including projects in retail, tourism, commercial and residential assets across the country, as well as with many start-ups, real estate agencies, developers and final clients. My focus has been to support investors in all stages of their projects, from the strategic definition of appropriate investment structures, advisory on project finance, licensing, construction and exit strategies.
Within my day-to-day practice I combine my legal knowledge and expertise with my past company management experience, obtained at an international level between the UK and South Africa, as well as the lessons learned from several years in chair positions at different economic or business associations, including real estate developers’ associations.
Apart from some legal books published on consumer law and bills of credit, I write legal and opinion articles regularly to some of Portugal’s most divulged channels such as Idealista and Link to Leaders.
