I am a real estate lawyer based in our Manchester office and have over 13 years' experience in acting:
- for institutional landlords,
- for retail, office, industrial/logistics and leisure tenants and occupiers,
- on high value residential and commercial development acquisitions and disposals,
- on freehold and leasehold acquisitions and disposals,
- on corporate support transactions, and
- on due diligence exercises for real estate financing transactions.

Notable deals
- Acting for a national food retailer on acquisitions, disposals and general management of its portfolio including development of new stores, lease acquisitions, renewals of existing stores and day-to-day estate management.
- Acting for an international sports brand retailer on the acquisition of new retail stores and estate management transactions.
- Advising a national developer on several of its development and regeneration projects, including a flagship project, part of a wider masterplan, to join Salford to Manchester City Centre. I have also advised and acted for the same developer on its London head office move.
- Advising on the acquisition of a new city-centre head office for a global technology platform.
- Advising on the acquisition of new city-centre head offices in Canary Wharf and Bishopsgate for a national construction company and a global renewable energy provider primarily based in Tokyo.
- Acting for a landowner to implement a complicated Option Agreement to document terms agreed with a national agency in lieu of CPO powers.
- Acting for a renewable energy provider entering into Options Agreements over various parcels of land across the UK facilitating c.25-40-year leases with landowners for the purpose of installing and operating solar PV energy apparatus and battery storage sites.
- Advising on a disposal of a site for residential development conditional on satisfactory planning for the scheme.
- Advising an institutional funder financing numerous sites for the development of care homes across the UK.
