Professional background
I combine my US-based and international advocacy experience with strategic advisory capability. Through this experience, I assist my clients to devise multifaceted and bespoke legal strategies, delivering practical solutions to address even the most intricate legal challenges and helping them navigate these issues while advancing their broader business objectives. I work with companies, investors and sovereign-owned entities on high-value, multi-jurisdictional matters, including government investigations and regulatory disputes.
I began my career at an AmLaw 100 firm as a corporate lawyer before becoming a trial lawyer in Boston and New York City. This background helps me understand both transactional drivers and dispute risk — an advantage when developing bespoke strategies in technically, commercially and legally intricate matters. I joined Fieldfisher’s dispute resolution team in London and continue to focus on cross-border disputes and arbitration.
I have successfully represented clients before various arbitral bodies, such as the International Court of Arbitration (ICC) and the International Centre for Settlement of Investment Disputes (ICSID), as well as in U.S. State and Federal courts and various U.S. administrative bodies.
In addition to my disputes practice, I occasionally act as outside general counsel to international businesses, advising on cross-border risk, regulatory exposure and strategic decision-making.
I have been recognised as a “Trail Blazer” and named a “Rising Star” by Super Lawyers in the United States.
