I have acted in all divisions of the Portuguese Civil Courts, including the Supreme Court of Justice and the Constitutional Court.
Most recently I have represented two major group actions, one before the Portuguese Supreme Court of Justice, concerning tobacco distribution agreements and private enforcement, and the other involving the misconduct and alleged breach of obligations of financial intermediaries.
Recently I have also acted in a complex dispute between leading pharmaceutical companies involving intellectual property rights concerning generic medicines.
I am currently assisting on a variety of disputes related to specialized debt recovery arising from private equity litigation, insolvency and restructuring, and professional negligence.
Alongside my experience in complex litigation, I also advise Clients in pre-litigation scenarios.
I have a postgraduate degree in Insolvency Law and Corporate Restructuring and in Private Enforcement, Collective, Strategic and Structural Protection (both from the University of Lisbon Law School).
