I have dedicated myself to the practice of medical negligence litigation for very personal reasons. I suffered a birth injury which left me with a permanent disability known as Erb’s palsy or brachial plexus palsy. My personal journey fuels my commitment to ensuring that others do not endure the same hardships caused by negligence. I understand all too well the importance of fighting for answers and accountability when something has gone wrong during hospital treatment.
I also understand the physical, emotional, and financial toll that medical negligence can take on individuals and families, and strive to secure fair compensation for clients. I have acted in high-value cases of cerebral palsy, Erb’s palsy and other birth injuries; surgical errors and negligence; GP negligence and delayed cancer diagnosis to name only a few examples of the cases I have successfully concluded at trial and at settlement.
I am a frequent speaker at conferences on medical negligence and inquests. My cases are regularly reported in the national and regional media, and I am regularly asked to comment on key legal issues in this sector.
In addition to my legal practice, I am actively involved in raising awareness about medical negligence issues and advocating for improvements in healthcare practices. I believe in fostering a safer and more accountable healthcare system for all.
