I advise a wide range of financial institutions on legal, regulatory compliance and policy matters in relation to the consumer credit act, motor finance and asset finance law, FCA regulations and the FCA handbook and sourcebook. I also advise the asset finance leasing industry and motor finance industry on a wide range of sector based legal and compliance advisory to include best market practice.
I am personable and inspiring leader with business acumen, energy, drive, pragmatism as well as extensive legal and senior management experience, gained inhouse and in private practice who thrives in a constantly changing and challenging environment. I have the ability to work autonomously, assimilate a wide variety of work, communicate effectively at all levels, with extensive managerial experience within a high performance culture.
In the 2020 edition of Chambers of Chambers UK, I have a Band 2 individual ranking in Consumer Credit UK wide and praised by clients who noted “She provides sound, practical advice and is great at tuning into our commercial objectives”.
I have spoken at many credit and finance industry conference and regularly write for industry journals such as Credit Strategy, Leasing World, Leasing Life and Motor Finance. My last speaker engagement was at the International Asset Finance International delivering a presentation to the motor finance industry and 10 top car dealers on the FCA final findings in relation to the motor finance market review and the BVRLA webinar on the new COVID 19 temporary forbearance measure released by the FCA.
In my spare time I enjoy working with my personal trainer on a strength training programme, yoga once a week at my local club, cinema, theatre and sailing.
