With respect to fund finance transactions, my field of experience covers subscription line facilities, NAV facilities and hybrid facilities. I represent both borrowers and lenders and the scope of my advice covers all transaction aspects including, without limitation, the negotiation of the facility agreements and the structuring of the security package. On the Structure Finance side, I am specialised in securitisations. I have been advising clients on the features of the available Luxembourg securitisation vehicles and I have worked on setting up such vehicles and negotiating all the financing documentation until completion of the transaction. The clients I have worked for, include some of the biggest market players (credit institutions, investment funds, asset managers) both on the lender and the borrower side.
Before joining Fieldfisher, I was a finance associate at the Luxembourg office of an International Law Firm with a strong fund finance practice. Prior to that, I was a legal analyst at the supervisory law division of the European Central Bank where I worked on matters of banking supervision and regulation within the context of the Single Supervisory Mechanism (e.g. own funds, credit institution authorisations, banking license withdrawals, passporting and more). I started my career at a Law Firm in Greece where I practised banking law and litigation.
I was admitted to the Greek Bar in 2019 and I am a member of the Luxembourg Bar (List IV) since 2022.
I hold a Master of Laws in International Financial Law (Pass with Distinction) from King's College London. My mother tongue is Greek whereas I am fluent in English and Spanish. I have a good command of French and German and an elementary knowledge of Arabic.
