Professional background
I am a real estate and environmental lawyer with experience in advising on real estate transactions, urban planning, environmental regulation, soil pollution, and sustainable infrastructure projects in Belgium. My practice covers property development, renewable energy, and environmental compliance, supporting clients in sectors such as logistics, retail, industrial operations, and electric vehicle charging infrastructure.
Before joining Fieldfisher, I gained valuable experience within leading Belgian and international law firms, where I worked on transactions involving office, commercial, and industrial sites. I have advised on lease and long-lease agreements, sales, easements, environmental and urban planning permits, and related litigation before the Council of State and regional governments.
I also assist clients in understanding and implementing environmental obligations in the context of property and energy projects, with a particular interest in the intersection between environmental law and real estate.
Alongside my practice, I am a Teaching Assistant at the Université Libre de Bruxelles, supervising seminars in property law (Rights in rem). I hold a Master’s degree in Law from the Université Libre de Bruxelles and I am currently completing an Advanced Master’s degree in Environmental Law and Public Real Estate Law at UCLouvain Saint-Louis.
I am fluent in French and English, proficient in Dutch, and conversational in Spanish.
